This week’s featured track is from the Enigma album. “Angel of the Devil” is probably my personal favorite on that album. It is also a favorite to perform live. The dramatic percussion section at the climax of the piece is a blast to play. The inspiration for this one came from the classic theme of the vampire and his/her struggle to find a place between humanity and oblivion. Please enjoy.
Just added the Industrial Music Electronics Piston Honda Mk3 to the Modular synth arsenal. Within the first few moments, I can already tell this is a beast that will find it’s way into many new recordings.
This track from the Apocalyptic Metaphors album was spawned from the classic technique of creating a collage of many spoken audio clips for a disorienting effect. We chose clips relevant to the subject matter and built an ambience and drama of noise around that.
Been a little slow keeping up with these weekly track highlights, so here’s to getting back on track. This week features “Death Hour” from the “Enigma” album. This is a sonic meditation on the inevitably bleak future of our world. Enjoy.
Tune in to Deep Ellum Radio Wednesday evening (April 17) at 9 for The Incinerator. Tons of great industrial, Electro, Etc.
There will be a brand new Static of Masses track, so check it out!!!
